Modaraba Al-Mali (PSX Ticker Symbol: MODAM) is a multipurpose and perpetual Modaraba floated on July 8, 1987. It is being managed by LSE Capital Limited, previously BankIslami Modaraba Investments Limited (BIMIL).
After acquisition, the new sponsors of Modaraba Al-Mali, have discontinued the Islamic financing products, and have also decided to divest from its existing investments.
The focus of the Modaraba has now been changed to Islamic Venture Capital/Private Equity transactions and Restructuring/Rehabilitation of the businesses/companies having the potential for revival through financial resource mobilization and entrepreneurial leadership. Besides, the Modaraba shall also invest its capital in other capital market transactions and for acquiring, operating and developing the real estate assets.
